The Time Just Flew By Again...

Just a quick update (as quick as is possible for 5 months!) - February and March were spent preparing for my dance recital and enjoying the boys' wrestling season. They both did very well. Kael took 1st most tournaments and 2nd a couple of them. He ended up with a 2nd place finish at State. Ethan took 2nd at most tournaments, losing by the tiniest amount, and then ended up winning 1st at State, so overall it was a great season. Richard coaches the little league wrestlers so we had a lot of kids we were watching and they all did so well with the new program wrestling the northern schools. It was a fun season.















Here is Richard's fun for the Spring - he was able to get a special tag and kill a cougar during wrestling season. It was quite fun for him and the cat ended up weighing right around 100 pounds! Here are some pictures from all the excitement!

Baseball & Softball season are almost to a close - we've had a wonderful season for all the kids! All 5 of them were playing this year plus Richard was in 2 different leagues that overlapped, he was assistant coach to the boys' team, I coached Rhett's team, and we were the Tball coordinators so it was a crazy season!








The boys got their Bear and their wolf awards in scouts in April at the pack meeting. It was fun for them to get their awards together. I'm so proud of my scouts!






Alayna got braces on! Trista got hers off in December, now we are on to the second child. She looks so cute with her new shiny teeth jewelry!




Our YW had a modesty fashion show in April where they demonstrated what not to wear as well as what you might wear given you had a wardrobe out of trash bags, yarn, tissue paper, etc. There were immodest fashions such as "spaghetti" straps, "saran wrap tight" clothing, a "minnie" skirt, "plunging" neck lines, and much more. The girls were very creative in their design fashions and they all did a great job!






I was able to go on Rhett's Kindergarten field trip to Zion the end of April. It was rescheduled a week due to bad weather, but the day we went the weather was perfect and we had so much fun. We went to the lower Emerald Pools, went to the lodge grass to eat, and then visited the Elk farm in Springdale. The kids had a great time and so did the parents and teachers!














We took the kids to the cracks up on the Dixie Hill and over the bridge on the big rock. We had a blast that day and it was a beautiful day to be out hiking.
























I was able to chaperone a swimming party for Trista's choir at school. They split the kids up into 3 groups and sent them to different private pools. We got to go to this fun pool where there was a rock slide and a jumping ledge. They had double trampolines in the ground and a volleyball net along with snow cones for the kids. They had so much fun and I was so glad I got to go.
